2007 GMC Trucks: Denali Fullsize Truck
By:
Published: August 24, 2007
The Denali line of luxury GMC Trucks began in 1998 in an attempt to step into the luxury truck market. Since then, the Denali line has expanded to include SUVs, and is widely considered to be the fullsize luxury truck line of choice for the buyer on a budget. The 2007 Denali GMC Trucks have been completely upgraded in comparison with the 2006 models.
The exterior look, the interior feel and the machinery of the GMC Trucks themselves are vastly different, offering better quality and performance.
The signature fullsize of GMC Trucks is the Sierra Denali. It is a pickup model of GMC Truck capable of seating five passengers in its leather interior, which then can entertain passengers with an array of features ranging from XM Satellite Radio to an mp3-compatible stereo system. This GMC Truck contains new safety features as well, including roof-mounted side curtain air bags and automated windshield wipers that activate when rain is sensed on the windshield. OnStar version 7.0 is also included with the 2007 Sierra Denali, providing instantaneous contact with emergency help, and will even send out an SOS signal if the airbags in this GMC Truck deploy.
As for the machinery inside this GMC Truck, the 2006 model's engine has been replaced entirely with a new 403-horsepower Vortec V8 engine, supported by a six-speed automatic transmission. The safety features and sheer power of GMC Trucks makes sure they are capable of performing hard work as with other pickup trucks; yet the Sierra Denali keeps the luxury intact while working. The MSRP of these GMC Trucks is about $39,000 to $42,000.
Another fullsize Denali GMC Truck is the Sierra Classic. It is the little brother to the Sierra Denali, with only a 4-speed transmission and less cab space than larger GMC Trucks. The Sierra Classic also has slightly lower towing capacities and payloads than other GMC Trucks. Other than that, the two GMC Trucks are very similar. Both GMC Trucks have available features such as built-in DVD entertainment centers, power folding back seats to provide more trunk space, and cameras installed in the rear to aid in backing up. The GMC Trucks also share the safety provided by OnStar and daytime running lights. The 2007 Sierra Classic Denali MSRP rounds out to about $40,000.
When looking for power in addition to comfort and luxury, the 2007 Denali models of GMC Trucks can provide just what a driver needs. The fullsize trucks have a multitude of luxury features, while not skimping on the safety and horsepower of GMC Trucks. Whether a driver simply desires a comfort-filled ride for the family that can also do some work on the side, or wants a heavy-duty pickup truck that still affords a comfortable driving experience, the GMC Trucks of the Denali line can provide all that and more.
